I see Wellington’s landscape as a layered archive of stratigraphic memory—where dreams, memories, and mythologies settle like sediment beneath the surface, woven into the subconscious of the land. With its dramatic geology and shifting light, the landscape feels both fragile and monumental. These works reflect that balance between presence and disappearance, reminding us how the land holds both vulnerability and resilience.
