Some FAQ’s about found object and mono-printing
Is This Workshop for You?
This workshop is a perfect if: You are curious about printmaking and want to experiment with new materials. You love the idea of turning everyday objects into artistic tools. You are ready to take your printmaking skills to the next level, combining experimental techniques with traditional mono-printing. You want to explore both hands-on crafting and artistic innovation over a two-day creative journey.
What are found objects?
Found objects are everyday items—like dried leaves, lace, or rubber mats—that you can collect from nature, thrift stores, or around your home. In this workshop, you'll learn how to use these objects to create textured prints.
Do I need any experience to join?
No prior experience is needed. This workshop is open to all levels, from beginners to those with some printmaking knowledge.
What materials should I bring? Please bring an apron or wear an old shirt , a couple of small paint brushes, a pencil,
and A4-sized photocopies of images you’d like to replicate in mono-printing.
Bring any found objects you might have that inspire you to create interesting textures.
Due to the location of the workshop there will be access to a lot of nature that may also inspire you on the day.
How many prints will I make?
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created at least 10 unique A3-sized prints!
"Printmaking has always been at the heart of my creative journey, and I believe in its power to unlock new artistic possibilities.
My goal is to help you discover that same magic through found objects and experimental techniques."
